R.O.A.G Academy

  1. ROAG Academy was chosen to be affiliated with Tswelelopele Business and Skill Academy because of the following reasons:
  2. They are according to Mr. Dimpho Phungwayo (an ETDP officer from CATHSSETA) the only company accredited to offer accredited training to camp sites through the ABL-Adventure Based Learning and its safety principles.
  3. ROAG is also accredited to offer Professional Outdoor Guides training to campsites in high-risk adventure activities through CATHSSETA, and their training modules includes Customer Care and Advance Outdoor Health and Safety.
  4. They also Accredited to train Couches and Mentors for Camp Sites through ICR (International Couches Registry)
  5. Rubin van Rooyen of ROAG is also the only person known in the camp industry that have a qualification to develop Site Safety Files in the form of US229994 and are a registered assessor and moderator for the qualification. He also has an SLA to present this qualification and he adapted this course for camp site owners and managers. This in our opinion makes ROAG the ideal candidate to analyse camp sites “site safety files” vs “what is actually on the ground”.  His Staff and volunteers are trained according to his qualification level.
  6. ROAG is also one of a very few in the industry that has already done an accredited “COVID 19 in the workplace” Course.
